Kilts

The British Universities Snowsports Council - the main organisation for student skiing and boarding. Organises annual Dry Slope and Alpine Champs, plus other events and holidays.

Alpines in Tignes

Infamous dry slope racing series, with regional qualifiers leading to National Finals and Ball. Also Alpine Championships held in Val d'Isere in December.

The Varsity Trip is the annual ski and snowboard trip for Oxford and Cambridge Universities; taking around 2,000 Oxbridge students to Val Thorens for a week in December. The trip also hosts the Varsity Ski Championships, the oldest university ski races now in their 86th year. The trip is open to skiers of all ages and abilities, and you can’t get better snow or selection of runs than in VT, at 2300m above sea level. Our mind-blowing events programme includes a Valley Ralley, an Arctic Rave, an Opening Ceremony, a Silent Disco, and an epic Final Night Party, as well as making Malaysia, the largest club in the Alps, exclusively Varsity’s for the week. This is the biggest event in the Oxford and Cambridge Calendar and one not to be missed.
