ski and snowboard tech courses
Another great way to work a season in the Alps, or even to get into the industry in the UK, is to work as a Ski or Snowboard Technician.
Natives
has teamed up with industry specialists, Anything Technical, in what
will be its 27th year of training, to offer courses in becoming a ski and snowboard technician.
Three-day courses are available, and include one day each for Ski & Snowboard Technician Beginner, Advanced, and Boot Fitting.
All courses are fully certified, recognised by the UK retailers, the
snow trade and the winter tour operators as being the standard for the
industry. The certificates received are a certificate of attendance rather
than competence, completing the courses does not mean that you are suddenly
an expert ski tech or boot fitter. Expertise will only come with time
and experience!
The three modules in the three-day courses are:

of theory and practical. The amount of practical is restricted by time
and space although people attending two day courses will have free time
