Valle Nevado is part of the Three Valleys of the Andes, which include El Colorado and La Parva, and visitors may purchase an interconnect ticket to ski all three. Valle Nevado has extensive terrain and long runs, with excellent off-piste terrain and world-class heliskiing. Valle Nevado was built by a French company, hence the European feel of the area. It takes about 1 hour to get here from Santiago. It is one of Chile's best developed resorts, with a full-service infrastructure that includes a disco, spa and shopping. A dozen restaurants give skiers plenty of options. This is a good bet for day skiing, too.
