THE NATIVES SHOW LOVE TOUR 2009/10

Party night in Meribel

The first Show Love Tour party of the 2009/10 season got underway last night at the Doron Pub (Le Pub) in Meribel, with what can only be described as asensationalspectacle that took 70s and 80s parties to another level. The Disco Sensation band were absolutely one hundred percent glam, rocking the Meribel station.

Super Salami with Solari

DJ Rob Solari, aka Ruperto Salami and his team of outragious dancers - Percy Pelvis, Ambre Solaire, Sally Suckit and the totally stunning Foxy Roxy, took to the stage and girated their way through all the classic oldie dance tunes that had the Doron Pub swinging from the rafters. In my 21st winter season working in the mountains I've never witnessed such an amazing set, and one that truly put a smile on your face.

Big prizes for Belvedere

As usual at all our Natives Show Love Tour parties, there were loads of amazing prizes to be handed out, all courtesy of our sponsors.

Staff from Belvedere Chalets were perticularly fortunate to win three of the raffle draws with George Adcock winning a Ski Club of Great Britain goody bag, Rebecca Waters taking home the stunning down feathered filled jacket from Greeneye, and James Keightley winning the Black Fly sunglasses and Natives goody bag.

Altitude Festival 2010
The Inghams girls, Lucy and Poppy were also on good form, dressing up for the occasion in fantastic green and pink florescent outfits and winning annual subsciptions to Fall Line Skiing and Document Snowboard magazines.

Emma from the Cactus bar took home a Ski Club goody bag whilst Peter Kindness won a Natives bag filled with lots of fantastic prizes including a Warren Smith Ski Academy DVD and a pair of tickets to the Altitude Festival 2010 later in the year in Meribel.

Party penguins
Alex Bunn and Seb Agertenft form the Rond Pont won a greeneye hoodyand Natives goody bag respectively and Phil Hassen from London was the only penguin of the night to win Ski Club of Great Britain goodies.

The pub was absolutely packed with loads of great fancy dresscostumes on show, one that particularly caught the eye was a chap dressed as a frogand his mate coming as roastbeef....more of that to come!
