THE NATIVES SHOW LOVE TOUR 2008/09

SupermanSun in the South
The Show Love Tour went for a bit of an extended road trip this week as we headed down to Alpe d'Huez and Les Deux Alpes in the French Southern Alpes. Smithys bar, our traditional haunt, was the venue in both resorts where the love shown was greatly welcomed. Live music was in abundance with the Albenaza trio in Alpe d'Huez and Doctor Bruce in Les Deux Alpes.

SuperherosAlbenaza in Alpe d'Huez
Albenaza starred in their second Show Love Tour date, having debuted in Vallandry last year. The trio of Al, Ben and Aza performed their unique mix of guitar rock, mellow tunes and awesome beatboxing to the party, and brought the curtain down on the night with a beatboxing showdown - a great finish.

PrizewinnerDoctor Bruce in Deux Alpes
It's always great to welcome Doctor Bruce back on the tour , and the Deux Alpes local certainly enjoyed one of the best bands in the Alpes. The seasonaire classic Ghostbusters theme proved very popular as did Nelson, the long-standing doorman and birthday boy getting on stage to perform a scatman/reggae tune! Check out the rest of the pictures from the two nights here.
