Saw a really good band in one of the bars in St Anton last year. THink it was two or three scandinavians playing acoustic guitar and bongo's. No idea who they were, but they were pretty good!

sadly, superfly don't count anymore, being as they have moved onward and up to record contracts and beyond. they will be remember for some superb natives ski show, birthday and summer parties.

wouldn't claim we launched them, but...

lol yeah, so I heard! The last time I spoke to the bass guitarist (his name escapes me now) him and Paul (drummer) were playing for Sophie Ellis Bexter, I even caught a glimpse of them on TOTP a while back! Laughing

Lets hope they haven't forgotten where they started eh?!!! Laughing Wink

and of course sophie did turn up with TPT to check him out in action at the natives workers party in 2003...

some here might know jon, our events manager. not being a regular reader of heat, when she turned up on the door and claimed she was sophie ellis bextor, he didn't believe her. she then proceeded to whip out her passport to prove it (she'd just changed the colour of her hair, so presumably happenned a lot) Very Happy

Was I at the 2003 party? I think so, and I'm sure I had no problems getting in.
I can't remember the party, so I may have had problems getting out.

I heard on the grapevine that Ms Bextor is in fact engaged to the bass guitarist now... they certainly seemed loved up when i saw them at a gig about 4 months ago....

I would have to say without a doubt that at the moment Mullit are just amazing!! best by far

but i have seen a lot of the bands mentioned and to be honest loved them all.

but for sheer quality and stage diving-a-bility then Mullit

Where is Hussy?!

Great band, great lads, had a good lock-in night at the Ronnie and they were one of the great bands we had in this year.

Aw no! I'm the best fookin' band in the alps, and its my 'Special fookin' Bus' not Maaayke Graays!
Them bloody Superfly perfume ponces are so far up their own bottoms. And the Bassist! Oh dear, he looks like a fat public schoolboy with a woman's hairstyle.

Lots of love
