This year the success story is set to continue with more activities, more brands and more destinations to help plan adventures of all kinds into the outdoors.

New features for 2007 include:

  • Brand Showcase - the latest in technical clothing and new outdoors fashions and equipment presented by some of the best outdoors brands, topped off with fashion shows and expert gear talks covering topics including waterproofing, rucksacks and boot fitting,
  • A Wilderness Camp with Girlguiding UK - where visitors can pick up survival skills and the latest information on conservation issues.
  • All the action from The ICC European Bouldering Championships - hosted live from the show.
  • Fun in the sun at the Freespirit Beach Festival.
  • The Climb Zone & Rock Café with Climber Magazine – free taster sessions for beginners, advanced master classes for professionals run by planetFear and a café to relax in and watch the action around you.

The Ordnance Survey Outdoors Show incorporates four shows under one roof exploring a huge breadth of outdoors activities, with access to expert information on climbing, bouldering, canoeing, camping, diving, walking and mountain biking.

The Ordnance Survey Outdoors Show: great brands, the latest gear, inspiring outdoors celebrities and miles of inspiration. Visitors can explore Britain and access a wealth of information from the best places to ramble to new places to visit. Outdoors addicts can pick up a new map, shop for the latest gear and brush up on photography skills in one of the Colin Prior or John Beatty workshops. For those who want to take it easy and soak up the atmosphere, there is the Cumberland Arms – a true English pub bringing the Lake District to the heart of the show!

The Trespass Adventure Sports Show: with climbing, bouldering, mountain biking and more, there is something for anyone with an adventurous spirit. This show is sure to get hearts pumping as visitors push peddles on leading brand bikes in the bike arena and hear nail biting tales from world-class climbers in the BMC Summit Theatre, in association with Blacks.

Craghoppers Adventure Travel Show: bringing together travel destinations from across the globe. Intrepid travellers will get a real taste for destinations and their cultures, hear about amazing places to explore and have the opportunity to book their next adventure.
