Relentless Freeze Festival
Date: 28 - 29 October 2011
What is the Freeze Festival in Battersea? Is it a music festival? Is it a sports competition? Is it all the winter goodness with a blast of fun? Let us explain.
Freeze is a snowsports and music festival in London, nestled in the shadow of Battersea Power Station. Every year since it began in 2008 Freeze has welcomed the world’s very best skiers and snowboarders to compete on the specially erected 32m high, 100m long real snow ramp. They throw themselves off the huge kicker performing their best tricks for the LG snowboard FIS World Cup ranking points, their share of the prize purse, and your viewing pleasure.
Music Line-Up
This year The Streets are set to headline as are Groove Armada in what looks set to be one of the best Freeze Festivals ever. Other smashing acts and bands in the lineup include Zane Lowe, Beardyman, and The Joy Formidable.
More information about the music line-up is available on the Freeze website.
