show a great snowfall over the last few days.
CdS members based
out in resort have confirmed the situation:
Giles Hawke reports over
50cm of snow in the town of Chamonix, plus a good
blanket over France and Switzerland generally.
Julie Savill had to dig her way out
of Les Allues to get to the bar openings in Meribel!
Over the water Serge Samaha advises that it's snowing in Lake Tahoe, Colorado
and Utah, while Ben from VIP Holidays in Whistler
says there's heavy snow in Whistler village, with
it looking unlikely to stop for a while!
