When Thomson Travel Group made their ski investments
last year they said nothing would change, but this
weekend sees the first moves in the massive task of
bringing Crystal Holidays, Thomson Breakaway and Simply
Travel under one roof.
The official line is that the companies will
continue to operate seperately from their new offices
in Kingston, but with Thomson struggling to please
the City watch out for some programmes converging
over the next six months.
The move will eventually leave Crystal House
in Surbiton vacant. With the owner, a certain
Peter Dyer, due to finish his gardening leave shortly
can we expect to see a new operator rise from the
