Fans
of Davina McCall's bottom will be pleased to hear
that the Channel 4 dating series 'Streetmate' will
be back in an Alpine special this autumn!
Davina
and her team hit Courchevel last winter in search
of young singles in search of romance. An anonymous
Club des Saisonniers
member was on the scene: "Davina, and the
rest of the film crew graced Courchevel with their
presence in March, and quickly swooped upon this guy
called Dave, who was out on holiday for two weeks,
but also a good friend of the rep in our hotel - the
lovely Amy!."
"My
involvement transpired because there were left-over
cakes from afternoon tea, so as normal I took them
to feed the L'Equipe bar staff next door, and bumped
into the crew as I was on my way through the door.
They all helped themselves to the cakes, which they
seemed to enjoy, and I deposited the rest of the cakes
inside. When I was on my way out, Davina asked
if she could interview me, and I agreed. She
asked questions such as 'Are you a boarder or a skier?',
'Do you have a boyfriend or are you looking for one?'
and 'Can you say anything romantic in French?', to
which my answer was a quick 'no'. And, that
was it, I wasn't picked, but then I already knew Delsy,
and we did snog a few days later!"
