As you are fully aware the Natives Jobs Fair is on the horizon, so we are whetting your appetite with some previews of who will be in attendance. There will be a number of gap year companies, tour operators and travel companies all on hand to chat to, so make sure you are attending the event to increase your chances of getting a job in The Alps this winter. Three companies that will be there will be Ski Total, Inghams and Esprit.
Ski Total
This company offers you one of the widest selections of catered chalets and chalet hotels across The Alps. They have over 120 properties in some of the best resorts in Europe including Meribel, Tignes, St Anton and Zermatt. Ski Total also operate stunning and luxury chalets many of which have swimming pools, hot tubs, saunas and steam rooms.
They employ a huge number of staff with positions in catering, operations and management and seek staff with the passion, desire and experience to be the best in the industry. Inghams

Their ski season runs from December until late April in Europe and North America during which time they employ a large overseas team including chalet and hotel staff, overseas representatives and resort managers among many many more. They even employ staff for their summer programme.
Esprit

What are they looking for?
Esprit, Inghams and Ski Total are looking to recruit for a number of roles in different overseas
departments. They are recruiting this year for a number of management and representative positions for all three ski brands including, Resort Manager, Resort Representatives and Chalet Managers. All of these roles are suitable for anyone looking to progress a career in Tour Operations and offer a fantastic opportunity to work for a growing company.
In the Chalets department they are looking for Chalet Hosts; keen and/or experienced cooks who are looking for a challenge running their own property (normally between 8 and 12 beds). They also have other roles available for more experienced cooks in their Chalet Chef role where you take the lead for catering in an individual chalet whilst being supported by a Housekeeping team to deliver the service and cleaning in the property.
In their Hotels department they offer the opportunity to truly develop your hotel management and chefing career. These three companies are looking for Head and Sous Chefs as well as a number of opportunities for Commis Chefs and Chef de Parties – these roles are available in France, Switzerland, Austria and Italy. From junior front of house positions, such as Hotel Assistant and Restaurant staff they are also looking for Assistant Hotel Managers and experienced Hotel Managers to manage some fantastic alpine hotels.
In their Child Care department they are looking for qualified Nursery Nurses (Level 3 or 2) to help run their winter nurseries in The Alps – places are going fast but they still have a few spaces left in their larger teams. In addition to this they are looking for Children’s Representatives (Snow Rangers) to help lead their child care activity programmes and escorting children to ski lessons.
There are also a number of support roles that they are recruiting for including, Maintenance, Drivers, Resort Assistants and Stores Coordinators.
