As well as many different recruitment companies offering you a plethora of job opportunities there will also be a number of gap year organisations. Taking place on Saturday 29th September 2012 from 11am to 4pm, it is all set to be one hell of a day out at the Novotel London West, so why not pop along?
One of the exhibitors that will attending the Jobs Fair will be the Cambridge Cookery School.
If you are interested in taking part in an amazing cookery course, then get on down to the fair and speak to the guys and gals from the Cambridge Cookery School. On the courses, they work in small groups, with a complete hands-on approach. They design menus for their partners in the chalet world which means that many of the recipes will be directly relevant for the food you will be cooking in resort.
Their courses are very intensive and whilst no previous cookery experience is required, passing requires focus and commitment. At the end of the week, representatives from their partners in the industry will attend to conduct interviews for the coming season.
Their team of friendly but professional chefs will teach you knife skills, kitchen hygiene, efficient prepping and planning, budgeting, shopping and time management. The course provides the following key skills:
Time management and menu planning to ensure more time on the slopes
Key cheffing and cookery skills that you can rely on
Relevant 7-day menus including starters, main courses and desserts for adults and children, Vegetarian options, alternatives for restricted diets, cakes and canapés
Nutritional and special diets advice
Budgeting and time management
Level II Food & Hygiene certificate
