Fancy working as a Chalet Cook, but don't have any experience? The signature Chalet Cooks Course at the Abinger Cookery School in Surrey can give you all the skills employers are looking for.
The Abinger Cookery School offer a 5-day course that's perfect for school leavers, whether you're hoping to work a ski or summer season, or if you're heading to uni and want to impress your new friends with your cooking skills! There is also the option of a more advanced 10-day course - this will develop your kitchen skills much further, and open up more opportunities when you're applying for jobs in the Alps.
The course is run by gourmet ski company Fish & Pips, with all students being taught by former Times Chalet Chef of the Year - Vincent Clist. It's an intensive course designed to give you a thorough overview of working and cooking in a chalet. The syllabus includes:
