Skiing in Hotham looks likely to become more popular
with the opening of the new Hotham Airport next month.
Qantas
subsidiaries flying from Sydney and Melbourne will
make weekend trips much more feasible by reducing
the travel time to just 47 minutes from Sydney and
21 minutes from Melbourne.
Services
to the new AUD17 million airport will operate 36 seat
Dash 8 aircraft on the routes. Flights will go from
Sydney on Fridays and Sundays from AUD299 and from
Melbourne on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays from
just AUD198.
With
a helicopter transfer from Hotham to Falls Creek available
for just $20, there are enough options for taking
to the air this winter to keep everyone happy.
