The third CyBar Internet Cafe recently opened in Chamonix, following in the path of the other CyBar's in Les Arcs and Méribel.

Sam Owens, founder of the the chain, was surprised when he came out the visit last year that there was such a large gap in the market: 'I couldn't believe that in a place with so many travellers there was no decent Internet Cafe.

The CyBar focus is on customer service.  'We have trained staff on hand to help the inexperienced,' Sam told us.  'Our connections also save time and money by being faster - all are leased line or ISDN instead of dial-up.'
