BRITAIN EXPORTS SNOW TO STATES

  17 February 2000

British company, Snow Business, is to provide artificial snow for John Travolta's new film, 'Numbers'.

The £13 million production has commissioned the Gloucestershire company to enable them to film a toboggan chase in Sacrimento, California, which Travolta is unwilling to leave while his wife, Kelly Preston is close to the birth of their second child.  It is understood the cost will be in the region of £300,000.

Snow Business's David Crownshaw will be heading a team of nine for the job: "We will be there for two weeks of shooting and then another two weeks to clear it up. We've got to get 36 tonnes of dry snow on its way to the States."
