Premiere Neige is a small, privately owned bespoke chalet company. We provide quality catered chalet holidays as well as self-catered chalets and apartments in the beautiful Alpine resort of Sainte Foy, France.
We are looking for independent, mature people who have a good work ethic, an understanding of the hospitality industry and who enjoy leading an active lifestyle. We are currently recruiting for:
Passionate and qualified Chefs for our Catered Chalets
to come and join our team out in the Alps. We are looking for the best chefs who know they have the flair and creative edge to wow our guests. Our chalets are luxurious properties, and with returning guests each year, the Premiere Neige food and service are renowned within Sainte Foy. Premiere Neige Chefs are an extremely important part of the catering service that we offer and this is a great opportunity for you to create fantastic menus in your own kitchen.
You'll be responsible for creating your own breakfast, cakes in the afternoon and then canapés and a four to five course evening menu. For the younger guests in your chalet you'll be cooking a two course high tea for them. Between morning service and coming back for the evening you'll be able to enjoy some well-earned time on the mountain with your lift pass and ski/board hire!
You will work closely with a Host that will look after the front of house but you will also be a main part of the guests' holiday so personable and presentable chefs are important.
We're looking for professional, team orientated people who are reliable and have a can do attitude. Ideally you'll hold a recognised catering qualification such as NVQ or City & Guild Chef Qualification or have built up extensive work experience in kitchens.
Head Housekeeper for our Self-Catered product to lead a team of Housekeepers for the coming Winter 2012/13
This role is ideal for someone highly organised with good people-management skills, also a great step into hospitality management. Previous housekeeping/chalet experience is essential. As a Head Housekeeper you will work with all the other departments within Premiere Neige organising the cleaning of our self-catered chalets upon the departure and arrival of the guests on a weekly basis. You will manage the team of Housekeepers, under the supervision of the General Managers. Your role will require you to maintain and monitor standards of cleanliness throughout the chalets, and be responsible for the inventories within the chalets at the same time. The role of a Head Housekeeper also entails managing and monitoring the laundry.
