High winds up on the Hintertux glacier meant that
the lifts did not open on Monday, the first day of
the event. The Boarder X has now been rescheduled
for Friday.
Fortunately
the Half Pipe and Parallel Slalom did go ahead as
planned. Lesley McKenna topped off an excellent
season with a win the women's half-pipe. Unfortunately,
Mel Leando, Britain's other successful competitor
this season was injured in the warm up and did not
compete.
