News in from one of the UK's ski travel agents
of some strange goings on with Millennium prices.
As predicted in Natives News back
in August, tour ops have
discounted New Year heavily, so much so that by last week
one of the larger operators was putting out holidays at
£199 in an attempt to shift some of their huge unsold capacity.
Typisch however, the British punter realises
at the weekend that there's only a month to go and
maybe it's time to book up at last. Result -
interest in Millennium trips reaches its highest peak,
holidays are sold at a major loss and all the prices
come back up after just three days. Ouch!.
