FALLS CREEK NEWS

Reuben Cameron riding the fun box Falls Creek has burst into life, opening for the 2005 winter season to glorious sunshine

Terrain park improvements
The first Fun Box is amongst the latest creations in Falls Creek's award-winning terrain park, which is being built in an enlarged area at Ruined Castle, with freerider-friendly boxes, pipes and rails.

More terrain has been devoted to the park team to create an even more interesting array of boxes, jumps, rails and hits. "Four snow kats snow farmed the Superpipe overnight and two worked in the expanded terrain park on skiers' right of Ruined Castle, creating more features," said Geoff Sorensen, Grooming Manager.

Freeskiers run free
Falls Creek has become increasingly known a great riders' winter playground. Ralph Magazine's current issue contains a national "Mega Guide to Pipes & Powder" and Falls Creek scored a perfect 10.
