Gay Ski Week NZ – Stepping Up, Stepping Out
Starting out as a small gathering, Gay Ski Week NZ three years on is becoming recognised as an international event.

Gay Ski Week NZ runs September 3 - 10 and features a variety of events including dance parties, showcase entertainment, a horizontal bungy night, ski days and picnics on the snow.

Serious party time
This year the main sponsor is 42BELOW vodka and the event is much bigger, taking place in Queenstown once again. Advance bookings are plentiful with visitors from Australia, Canada and the USA, many party goers returning for their second and third festivals.

The Grand Mercure Hotel St Moritz is the event base, and is already booked out. Head to Sanford for an allocation of rooms at nearby Outrigger at the Beacon.
