Natives were pleased to announce that Rupert Longsdon from Oxford Ski was to join Team Hardware and take on the ice in the incredibly strenuous Polar Challenge.

The gruelling training was almost unbelievable, so we were thrilled to be able to bring you the news of the victory of Team Hardware last month. They crossed the finishing line in 'pole' position, having avoided crevasses, frostbite and hungry polar bears while surviving on a distinctly dodgy diet.

Rupert told Natives that they 'were pleasantly surprised to survive, let alone win.'

Still time to donate
Details of the race are on www.polar-challenge.com. Rupert accepted the challenge to raise money for the Uphill Ski Club, and would still love your support in a bid to make some more money for charity. He is raising money for the Uphill Ski Club and donations can be made online.
