"The British Adaptive Ski Championships took
place in Meribel from March 19-26. The weather was glorious but
a little too nice and a number of races had to called off due to
the soft snow. The races ran alongside the British Land National
Ski Championships for the adult able-bodied racers. "Friday saw the last race of the week - Slalom. This went well (beating all the male and female disabled skiers) and hence I won the title of the British Adaptive Ladies Slalom Champion. I even managed to beat one of the able bodied racers! "Because of my two wins at this race event
I was crowned the BRITISH ADAPTIVE LADIES OVERALL SKI CHAMPION.
All in all, a very successful week!"
