Natives is pleased to be able to confirm that we have been nominated for 'Best Wintersports Website' in the 2005 Snow Awards.

Last year, thanks to our loyal visitors, we were the first recipient of this award. It was a great boost for all of the Natives team and a validation of all the hard work we put in.

Admittedly, we are rather biased, but here are our top five reasons to vote for Natives as Best Winter Website:

1. We deliver reliable, timely and accurate snowsports news and information the way it should be (ie a 'Natives' voice rather than regurgitated press releases)

2. We help bridge the gap between the dream and the reality of working a season (and hopefully change some people's lives)

3. We dig deep to bring you the key stories that can't find elsewhere (I'm thinking in particular of exposes like Wheelbarrow Freestyle, Doggie Sunglasses, Fluorescent Romper Suits, the Mono Boot and other such classics!)

4. We are not a faceless corporation, we are faceless season workers...err, only joking...we're people who have spent most of our working lives in resort, not in an office

5. We're nice...  ;-)
