Tragically, many Natives will already be aware of the death on Tuesday 25 January of Mikey Lewin.

Mikey was working his 5th season, having already worked in Meribel and Sunshine. At the time of the accident Mikey was boarding off the back of Arc 2000 towards Villaroger with two friends. Although his friends, along with pisteurs and ESF instructors were able to find him, they were sadly unable to resuscitate him.

His brother Richie Lewin has asked us to post his photo and to say that Mikey died doing what he loved best. Our condolences on behalf of all Natives go to his friends and family. There is a thread in the chat room where you can post your own messages.
