Offer made for top Verbier location
The Sun newspaper yesterday reported that David Beckham is buying his wife a luxury chalet in Verbier. Presumably keen to demonstrate his devotion he is offering £10million for Septieme Ciel chalet. Posh fell for the immense timber chalet while on holiday with her family last week.

She reportedly got straight on the phone to Becks. An insider said "she was so excited, she was close to tears. While it is the ultimate luxury, it would only be worth £8million. But the owner's wife is reluctant to sell so the famous couple made an offer she hopefully couldn't refuse.

Tatler Top Ten
The chalet, currently operated by luxury tour operator Descent Ski, is located on the Savoleyres side of Verbier high above the village and enjoys long sunlight with astounding views. There are six double bedrooms with en-suites, an outdoor Jacuzzi, sauna, games room and basement cinema.

It is ski-in, ski-out (when snow allows) and is already a regular haunt for celebs who rent it out for up to £32,000 a week, liking the privacy the private location with large grounds and gated drive can offer. It was featured in the Tatler Travel Guide 2002 as one of the 'Top 10' rental houses in the world.
