The North face of Todorka peak, Pirin Mountains, Bulgaria will be
the venue for the third edition of the International Big Mountain
Competition The
Mad Goat Ride, organized by the Bulgarian Extreme and Freestyle
Skiing Association (BEFSA) 19-22 February 2004.

How it works
There will be 2 runs. In the first run will start 45 skiers (men
and women) and 15 snowboarders (men and women). They will be appointed
according to the order of signing in for the Competition.
Since the contest will be organized according to IFSA Big Mountain
Freeskiing Contest Guidelines the competitors will be judged according
to IFSA Competition Rules in the five categories: Choice of Line,
control, fluidity, technique, aggressiveness.
Every competitor will
receive a photo of the course with marked No Fall Zones on the Technical
Conference before the competition. The best 16 men (skiers and snowboarders)
and 4 women (skiers and snowboarders) will compete in the second
(final) run.
In case of bad weather or snow conditions, that prevent the final
run starting, the results from the first run will be taken as final
stranding results.
Competition Fee
This is payable in cash at the race office in hotel and prices will
be announced soon on the website.
The fee includes: 3 nights Half Board accommodation, 3 days ski
lift pass, admission to compete, life and medical insurance for
the event. Transportation from and to Sofia Airport / 20 EUR / can
be arranged if you contact us at least one week in advance
Age requirements
Competitors should be with a minimum age of 18, in case of approval
by the parents with a minimum age of 16. For further information
