FRESH TRAX BOARD GAME

05 December 2003

Fresh TraxJust in time for Christmas comes what we think looks like a super-cool new snow-inspired board game - FRESH TRAX.

The game captures the simple joys of shredding an entire mountain, including the trials and tribulations we all experience any given day on the hill.

In it to win it...!
The aim of the game is to be the first across the entire mountain. And to win, players must capture and retain a Fresh Trax playing card, either by pulling it from the Trail Card pile or by "stealing" it from another player and then being the first to finish.

Skiers and Boarders
Players can tailor the game play to their riding preferences, choosing either Skier or Snowboarder playing pieces and a miniature Ski or Snowboard spinner.

Then it's up to you to negotiate your way around the mountain, advancing up chairlift spaces and choosing trails to descend.

A little bit of luck!
The random element comes from Lift or Trail Cards which add a degree of uncertainty to the game. These cards can help or hamper your progress by dictating moves such as using the singles line or riding dust on crust.

Freestyling
Adding another exciting twist to the game, the map also includes 6 plastic insert pieces. Players may be directed to certain buildings - the Gondola, Midlodge, or Ski Patrol, or try their luck at traversing over to the Hiking Areas.

And if you fancy testing out your freestyle skills, Fresh Trax Mountain also includes a miniature terrain park insert including a half-pipe, tabletops, and rails.

Fresh TraxGet it while it's hot...
Fresh Trax is sure to be a big hit with everyone from families spending quality time together to hardcore riders after an epic day on the hill.
