Baxter Brothers mix it with Bode in Winter Park, Colorado
Alain Baxter has been flying the flag for the British Land Alpine Ski Team at the Nor-Am Cup in Winter Park, Colorado.

‘The Highlander’, as Alain Baxter is known on the World Cup Alpine skiing tour, found himself lying 5th after the first run and finished 11th overall, one place above US Team favourite and current World Cup leader, Bode Miller . Miller recorded the 4th fastest run of the 2nd leg , just ahead of Alain's younger brother Noel, who finished 16th overall.

The fastest man of the day, taking advantage of archrival and World Cup Slalom Champion Kalle Palanders absence, was Ivica Kostelic of Croatia.

Superstar on and off the snow
‘The Highlander’ showed his natural tenacity and incredible fitness levels in the final of the recent BBC series of Superstars (shown on BBC1 last night), where he finished 2nd place overall.
