Shake on it
A new survey from Employment law firm Peninsula Business Services
has concluded that that handshake at the end of the interview could
make all the difference between a job offer and rejection.
Although the survey was on interviews in the general employment
sector, there are a few lessons there for anyone heading to an interview
in the travel and ski sectors, including for seasonal work.

which should help, but take a look at what interviewers listed as
their top pet hates from the survey:
26% - Improper dress
19% - Lateness
15% - Being disproportionately interested in salary
11% - Being cynical about previous employers
9% - A poor handshake
7% - Lack of clear goals and ambition
5% - Lack of eye contact
4% - Lack of reseach on the employer
3% - Mumbling
1% - Know-it-all attitude
