Shake on it
A new survey from Employment law firm Peninsula Business Services has concluded that that handshake at the end of the interview could make all the difference between a job offer and rejection.

Although the survey was on interviews in the general employment sector, there are a few lessons there for anyone heading to an interview in the travel and ski sectors, including for seasonal work.

Pet hates
We list our own tips which should help, but take a look at what interviewers listed as their top pet hates from the survey:

26% - Improper dress
19% - Lateness
15% - Being disproportionately interested in salary
11% - Being cynical about previous employers
9% - A poor handshake
7% - Lack of clear goals and ambition
5% - Lack of eye contact
4% - Lack of reseach on the employer
3% - Mumbling
1% - Know-it-all attitude
