'The Process' and 'Saturation'
Burton Snowboards, the world's leading snowboard company, announces
this year's Burton World Tour. Including Japan, USA and Europe,
the Tour incorporates Burton's promo video, "The Process" and Absinthe's
new snowboard movie "Saturation," accompanied by members of the
Burton Global Team, up-and-coming Burton Rookies and local Burton
pro-riders from each country.
Tour features
The Tour will feature live signings and on-the-spot interviews with
the best of Burton's Global Team and the Burton Rookies, with appearances
by National Burton riders from each country. Jeremy Jones, Gigi
Rüf, DCP, Terje Haakonsen, JP Solberg, Trevor Andrew, Jussi Oksanen,
Ross Powers, Kelly Clark, Romain de Marchi, Victoria Jealouse, Natasza
Zurek and Anne Molin Kongsgaard will represent the Burton Global
Team, with Heikki Sorsa, Nicolas Müller, Frederik Kalbermatten,
Kjersti Buaas, Julien Haricot, Iker Fernandez, Mini Karpf, Morgan
Lefaucheur, Björn Mortensen and Sani Alibabic showcasing the Who's
Who of the next generation.
Best riders in new films
'The Process' previews the sickest selection of team riders from
the Global and Rookie squads. 'Saturation' is the fourth production
of Absinthe Films, showcasing some of the best riders out of Europe,
including Romain de Marchi, Nicolas Müller, Gigi Rüf, Fredi Kalbermatten,
Iker Fernandez and a handful of Americans like Trevor Andrew shot
on location in Austria and Switzerland, as well as in Alaska, Japan
and Norway. Gigi and Nicolas, for example, traveled to Japan and
came back with some outstanding pillow footage from Hokkaido, the
north island of Japan.
