Bumps down under
Friday August 7 saw a large field of international mogul skiers
gathered at Perisher Blue Australia for the Australian Freestyle
Nationals and Continental Cup 2003.
The early pace was set by Laurie Lassilla (FIN) and Michael Robertson
(AUS). Both were confident over the challenging conditions as they
put down blisteringly quick runs with huge airs.

contender
Britain's only competitor, Andy David 23 from Derby, is currently
training down in Perisher with the Australian Freestyle team. Even
after sustaining an injury earlier in the day he achieved a credible
7th in the finals, which was a personal best.
