The funds were principally raised at the annual Ski Show Workers Party, held in London in November. This event is the traditional start to the season for workers and is the first event on the Show Love Tour. Over £2000 was raised from ticket sales, with an additional £1000 raised from an auction of prizes including a pair of skis from Precision Ski in Val d'Isere, a holiday from Hotel Le Boomerang in Les Gets and avalanche safety gear from Ortovox. The funds raised will be used by the British team to purchase new specially-made race standard skis from Salomon, to be used by racers like Steve Napier and Graham Nugent. This year's Ski Show Workers Party will raising funds again for the British Adaptive Ski Team and will take place on 1 November 2003.
