The temperature at the moment in Arinsal is around 38 degrees and
has been for weeks. We normally get large thunderstorms in the afternoon
due to the humidity but these soon pass too leave clear warm evenings.
The Bars
Quo Vadis, Red X, El Derbi & Jungla are open now all week and
Surf is open Thu-Sun. Jungla has just reopened after a refurb and
is now offering Tapas in a relaxed atmosphere. Music ranging from
Tribal/Latin through to funky house choons keeps it on a different
vibe from the rest of the bars.
For days sat on the terrace in the sun supping sangria or cold
beers...
The Hotel Micolau is in the sun all day serving a set 3 course menu
for just 9.9€ and fresh sandwiches are available from the bar.
Moni's cafe catches the morning sun and has 4 internet terminals
for those wishing to surf while tucking in to croissants and coffee.
Internet costs 1€ for 15mins or 3€ for 1hour.
Quo Vadis has a terrace by the river catching the sun all day and
has free internet connection to people using the bar!! They are
also serving a good snack menu at a reasonable price.
El Moli Italian restaurant has just reopened for the summer serving
Pizza & Pasta dishes and the usual vast cocktail menu.
Red X bar has the best if not only selection of british ales in
the whole of Andorra...The delights of Badger Best and Marstons
Strong are keeping the locals well intoxicated!!
As for the resort itself...
The gondola and telecabin are now open to allow walkers access to
the mountain. All high mountain trails are now open and clear of
