Ride Events, organisers of the Verbier Ride, have created a new
summer freeskiing event called the Saas-Fee Ride, scheduled for
19 July.
Demand for a summer competition
Organisers of the Verbier Ride, the current IFSA European Freeskiing
Tour Finals, decided to add the new event to their calendar because
of the repeated requests from riders wanting to compete in the summer
months. The event will be a great opportunity for Riders to compete
before heading to the Southern Hemisphere, Chile or Argentina.
Competition Format
The event will consist of a Skier Cross and a Slope Style. The excellent
glacier of Saas-Fee has been well maintained by the resort. Shapers
have created a top level skier cross course and several hits and
rails in the Snowpark. The Slope Style will be professionally judged
by international at levels.

Inscription starts on the 7th July, with early registration recommended
as places are limited. Timings and full information can be found
