The Methodmedia group has announced the birth of a publishing and
production house dedicated to board sports and the sideways movement.
Methodmag DVD
Season 03/04 will kick off with four issues of a snowboard magazine
combined with a dedicated cover mounted DVD. After 8 issues over
3 successful seasons, Methodmag Videomagazine will re-launch in
a new format, which they claim ‘is set to re-define what the industry
and public expect from a snowboard magazine’.
Starting this August, “Methodmag” will be available
as a cover-mounted DVD on a brand-new print publication - ”Method”.
Available in three flavours (English, French and German) “Method”
will hit the shelves four times in the first season.
Even skiers can be your friend
Co-founder Drew Stevenson said "There is a lot of good shit happening
out there, and we like to be in the middle of it. Snowboarding has
given me an international family and more free beer than any man
should rightfully expect. I've been lucky enough to call a lot of
riders, event organizers, photographers, filmers and even (and I
can't believe I'm saying it) skiers, friends for life.
It’s time for change in a stagnant snowboard market.
We have to hit and impress the new crew of young riders and make
them want our mag 'cos it is more fun to read than anything else
out there.”
