 You're
back from your season, going mad in the UK? Here's the answer. The
folks at Big
Friday have come up with the solution to help up-for-it folks
wave goodbye to the city and get some gorgeous fresh air into their
lungs, some salt in their hair and some sand between their toes!
Surfing is the perfect summer alternative to ski-ing or boarding.
The people are the same, the attitude's the same and there's nothing

Serious partying
One of the biggest weekends around Newquay takes place during the
last bank holiday in May (23rd - 26th). Over the past thirteen years,
Run to the Sun has become a homage to the vehicle most associated
with surfing - the Volkswagen camper van. Around 100,000 people
head for the coast to enjoy an eclectic weekend of sun, sea, surf,
customised cars and music.
  
Run to the Sun has evolved into a huge
dance festival and after a day in the surf, a massive party kicks
off at Trevelgue Holiday Park in Newquay. It's a huge weekend and
good accommodation in Cornwall is booked out months in advance.
Big Friday got in there early though and will be running a coach
that weekend with spaces available at The Aqua Shack.
