I t's been an exhausting season in Meribel, with some fantastic
powder days to keep us all occupied, and some serious partying to
fill in the gaps. The last two weeks of the season have taken their
toll on everyone's health as closing party follows closing party
while work still goes on undeterred, resulting in an adverage of
three hours sleep for all. Nevertheless, the party just kept on
going...
Mr Meribel
Three naked men and some serious deborchery were displayed within
the first five minutes of this year's Mr Meribel competition in
Dicks Tea Bar, leaving
the crowd wondering where things could go from there, but no one
was to be disappointed. Gallie (last
years winner) and Orville the duck (suffering much abuse and
split lip during the course of the night) compared the show which
at some points actually rendered Gallie speachless - surely it was
all worth it just for that! Mole from the Rondpoint was this years
winner, as the only contestant not to display his most intimate
secrets with the expectant crowd... (more

Charity and stocks
La Tania charity day offered something for everyone, be it a fantastic
bbq, a haircut, Dave Jordan back on the mike, a fancydress slalom,
egg and spoon on the piste or projectile vomiting. Congratulations
to all for the huge money raised from this very, very silly day...

Magic Double Big Air
Magic in Motion held
a fantastic comp open to all, with two huge jumps for the saisonnaires
to display their talents. The gentlemen in kilts sported some amusing
ice-rash by the end of the day, but the beats were huge, the bbq
rocked and everyone had a great recovery from the night before with
some awesome riding on display... (more

Au Revoir Ronnie...
For another winter we had to say our fairwells to the Rondpoint,
until the next time. Superfreud entertained the crowd (a mix of
Superfly and Freudian Trip) and there was the traditional mix of
crowdsurfing and beer throwing. Thanks for another awesome season
to all at the Ronnie, next year can't come round fast enough.
  
Adieu Ponchos
Well, finally the 1600 Mexican has shut its swing doors for the
last time, a few days earlier than planned... (after a 'situation'
the entire staff walked out during the last week in a show of solidarity
- power to them). The last party, a drag night, caused a few scary
sights and the bar will be sorely missed (especially by all the
boys who like to wear dresses...more

End of Season Ball
With a theme of Moulin Rouge, who could expect anything less than
crates of champagne, wide expanses of flesh, raunchy dancing and
an open bar. For those of you who may have lost some of the evening,

So until next year, have a fantastic summer, may
you finally catch up on sleep and let your livers recover, but somehow,
I'm guessing that's never gonna happen...
