Day One - Boardercross The course, designed by Olympic snowboarder Tony Roos, challenged even the best riders, and produced some nail-biting finishes. Big crowds gathered in and around the Po Na Na VIP tent at the finish line, where vin chaud flowed freely, and the ice bar doled out the beer to a background of cutting-edge music reverberating across the mountain. MAS catering came all the way from sunny old England to provide us with probably the first ever Hog roast on the Grand Montets, and potentially the most delicious (and biggest!) burgers ever tasted. All in all, ChamJam started with a bang, and is set to get better and better! Results for Day 1: Boarder-X
Men Results for Day 1: Boarder-X Women: Entries for the boarder-X were exceptionally high, and, as all entry fees go towards prize money, resulted in some serious wads of cash being awarded. Karine Ruby, Boarder-X World Champion, and Chamonix resident, showed us how it should be done, coming in a full four seconds in front in the time trials. Mail
