Junior Jam
The last event of the Burton European Open is over. Today's Junior
Jam was accompanied by sunshine and bluebird. The Juniors were riding
insane. From sponsored riders, to kids,who have never been in a
Halfpipe before. None of the kids competing were older than 13 years
and you wouldn't believe the tricks and combos they showed.
1st place was taken by American
Luke Mitrani who had already displayed his skills at the Men's Halfpipe,
where he made it into the Finals. He convinced the judges by going
huge with a lot of style and especially his 540 Combos Back-to-Back
540 decided his victory.
 
Last year's Junior Jam Winner
Oliver Gittler from France came in 2nd going super big as well with
clean McTwists. His style is incredible for the age of 12. 3rd place
for Swiss Christian Haller for his Frontside 540's and his height.

Junior Jam was the last event of Burton European Open 2003. Riders
and Media are rolling out of town with a big smile on their faces
- already looking forward to Burton European Open 2004.
