SNOWTEC TEST DAY IN VAL D'ISERE

18 January 2003

Brilliant sunshine and some wicked snow conditions for several seasons helped make Wednesday's Snowtec Test Day one of the best resort days out this season.

Workers only
Around 300 members of staff from Val d'Isère's workers community came down to La Daille for the chance to test the best of this season's equipment. The Snowtec boys did a top job and were unfazed by the whole experience, even though at times there was a queue coming straight out of the test centre door and halfway across the terrace!

All the spaces in Evo 2's off-piste and carving sessions were quickly filled and after being put through their paces, everyone who took part raved about the lessons! Phil and Paul from the development center dispensed useful tips and advice throughout the afternoon - the Boys in Black made sure that everyone got the best out of the kit they were testing and again proving that they not just another Val ski school!

Pimms & toons but no jacuzzi action
There was also plenty to do for the non skiers/boarders. Blasting out funky tunes, the Toit du Monde's terrace played host to an all day BBQ and a well stocked bar - including Pimms and, when the sun went down, vin chaud by the litre! Disapointingly people did not make the most of the infamous Toit du Monde jacuzzi - maybe they were shy (?) …. so unbelievably there is, apparently, not even any gossip to report!

Thank you...
Snowtec wishes to thank everyone who helped make the day such a success, Favre Sports, Precision, Snowfun, Toit du Monde, Evolution 2, the development centre, Natives.co.uk & The Marmotte Times.
