Many thanks to the monkeys
at PWC... Well, after reading the reports from the rest of the Natives team I can only look out my window and thank my lucky stars that I came to Austria! (many thanks to the monkeys at Pricewaterhousecoopers who pulled my job offer). Yep. We have snow, and it's absolutely Baltic. Skiing is open all the way to the village. Base a little thin in places but it's dumping as I write this The ski world does not start at Moutiers For those of you who think the rest of the world starts at Moutiers, and that skiing's spiritual home is the Espace Killy, or Trois Vallees, then we're here to set the record straight. After all the improvements made for last year's World Championships. This is the year St Anton shows the world what it can do. 260km of piste and some of the best off-piste in the world, combined with some of the best apres make St Anton the place to be this year. With superclub Cream dropping in on Monday to the Kandahar bar followed up by a string of top DJs over the next 5 weeks. What could be better No sightings of the dreaded megafluger As for here, workers parties are tripping off all over the place. It's difficult to find the time to catch a nap around here Last night we had the staff at Scottie's doing us all proud, and The Funky Chicken will try to up the stakes come Thursday, along with the Krazy Kangaruh trying to lure us up the hill today heinous drinking ahead methinks. I haven't spotted the dreaded megaflugerl yet, but if I have one more odd shot at Kartouche I think I'll disappear. The tour operators are all in town now. Crews seen going hard this week already include the guys from Skiworld, all the SHG crew (Thomson, Crystal, Simply) of course ;-), and magnificently so, the staff from Bar Cuba keep it up all! Anyway, nuff of that. Regards to all the workers saisonnaires or reiseleiteren all over the Alps, and those in more far flung places. Have a great season all! Bis später!
