But... can it be true? Looking out my window it is still snowing, and has been for the last five hours or so. We are promised a couple of days of some serious powder fall, but no one quite believes France Meteo any more - our relationship with them, always a tad dubious, has become very shaky of late. They have led us astray, and let us down when we needed them most, raised our spirits and dashed our hopes. But, if they are to be believed we have another 24 hours of the white stuff, so heres to the rekindling of our trust. FAST AND HARD The snow, although getting a bit sparse in
places this last week, has been super fast and with all links
still open from Courchevel 1650 across to the 4th Valley there
is plenty to keep both visitors OLYMPICS There is surprisingly little following of the Olympics here, and with several local participants it is strange that more effort has not been made. After a torchlit decent to light the Olympic flame in the Chaudanne, it has all gone very quiet. TV coverage fantastic though - wish I had a set, but much more fun to get out there and actually have a go. More of an obstacle course this half term week though! BIRTHDAY STAMINA
Many thanks to the Rondpoint who coped with scenes of much drunkenness and general debauchery, so a successful night. Have you found my wallet, sunglasses or jacket yet? GET YOUR KIT ON... For anyone heading over next week, Dicks Tea Bar is holding a Superheros night on the 27th Feb, so no excuses! See you there... Words and Pictures from Phin

Toffee
vodka. Thats all Im saying. Two long days on the
slopes and nearly twolong bottles of the caramel flavoured
happy drink did cause me to finish the celebrations of another
year passed a little earlier than planned. Barbie had a wild
night, suffering blatant sexual harrassment and eventual decapitation.
Luckily we managed to get a quick pic of new thigh-master
barbie before her head went sailing across the terrace and
claimed by Toby dog who was well reluctant to give it up.
