KINGS SKI CLUB ALPINES

6 December 2002

Mid-December in Val d'Isere looks like being a pretty major week.

Our Show Love party at Dicks, over 1000 university students in town, and the Kings Ski Club Alpine Championships, sponsored by Natives for the 2nd year - enough to keep anyone busy!

The Kings Alpines are a popular extension of the dry slope series that tours the country, and with conditions in Val looking excellent there's a great chance for student racers to prove who's the best on the white stuff!

With hundreds more students out with BUSC in Tignes, this is a rare early season opportunity for the best racers to compete on snow, although abilities among the
competitors, will range from snow ploughers to the cat suit wearers (even if they don't fit anymore - especially around the belly!)

Spectators can check out the event on the Stade de Slalom in Val (conditions permitting), with the blue riband Team Parallel Slalom the one to check out.
