Fresh Powder
With more than a meter of fresh snow in the last few days we are having a brilliant early season in the Belleville valley. The snow now stretches down to Les Menuires and Val Thorens has become a glistening white bowl.

Lifts opened on time
On Sunday the clouds lifted to reveal feet of sparkling powder. SETAM (the lift company) surpassed themselves by not just opening the Peclet Funitel and Cascades chair as promised but also the Portette chair and Grand Fond Funitel giving access to more than half the area.

All the signs are good
With all the new snow there is a furious effort being made to groom runs. There are signs that The 3 valleys chair, Moutiere and maybe even the Cimes de Caron may be opening soon with this being the best early season in a long time.
