The sprite freestyle masters were held at Sheffield Ski Village
this weekend and were won by Natives rider, Zack Wragg in the overall
amateur comp. He tells us what it was all about...
Rain couldn't stop play
"The atmosphere at the Sprite Freestyle Masters was as it always
is - everyone cheering each other on, pushing them to go bigger
and harder. Despite the rain on the Sunday the supporters stayed
out and kept on cheering.
Surprise
win for Wragg
I had only entered for fun as it is my home slope and I love it
when all the guys and girls get together and ride, so when I picked
up a first place I was over the moon. I totally didn't expect it.
Event support fantastic
I have to give a big shout out to everyone who made the weekend
possible, especially the slope workers who are the ones behind the
scenes making the event possible at the sacrifice of not being able
to enjoy it themselves (can you tell I used to be one of the boot-room
monkeys?). You know who you are!!!"
Bring on the Sheffield Freeze in May.
