TOP TEN RESORTS IN NORTH AMERICA

06 September 2002

SKI Magazine released the results of its annual reader's survey Wednesday ranking the top 60 resorts in North America, and after a year hiatus Vail reclaimed the no.1 spot - its 11th title in 15 years.

The survey, which will appear in the magazine's October issue on sale next week, ranks resorts in 17 categories including grooming and lodging.

The award might come as some solace to the Vail community after a particularly dry ski season last year and the recent death of one of its founders, Pete Seibert
