Our good friends at The Boarder have been working hard and have come up trumps with...The Boarder Forum Summer Bash.

It will be the UK's summer snowboarding festival. Smaller than Board-X. Shorter than Daily Mail. But snowboarding isn't a spectator sport, so this one's all about riding. Snowboards, wakeboards and giant tyres. Plus an all day BBQ, DJs and all night camping.

The Date: Saturday 24 August
The Location: Tamworth

If you're up for it, there's an afternoon's wakeboarding with beer, burgers and beats; a stint on Tamworth's Adrenalin Tubes; three and a half hours of the Snowdome's Fresh snowboarding only ramp night; Crashing in a tent near a lake. Sounds terrible.

You book and pay for everything seperately, so you can join in for as much as you want or just come along and watch. The day will go something like this:

Get to Tamworth Saturday midday.
A stint at wakeboarding between 11.00am and 7.00pm.
All day BBQ and beers.
Adrenalin Tubing 7.45 to 8.45pm.
Boarding 9.30pm to 1.30am.
Late bar to 1.00am.
Camp at the lake.
Sunday. Rise with bruises and hangovers.
