CARDRONA UPDATE

4 July 2002

The snow just gets better and better. Certainly the best conditions Cardrona has had in early July for many years. 100% coverage with all main runs being groomed daily and all off piste covered. All main runs are open and being groomed nightly with an average packed base of 40-80cm.

Another 30 odd cm of snow has fallen in the last week. It was very cold mid-week and the snow quality top to bottom resembles true continental conditions. Silky soft dry snow - just what Cardrona is renown for, top to bottom. Get an idea of the conditions around the mountain by checking out the hot pics page on the website updated last weekend

The entire terrain trail is in build mode with more rails and jumps coming on stream daily. The pipe park is also rapidly shaping up with International pipe open and riding well with two other pipes close behind.

That's it for this week. Hope you all have a chance to get close to the snow over the next few weeks. Keep up to date with the first web cam
